Engine not idling good

Ok so i have a 1990 camaro with a early or mid 80's carbed 350. I just replaced the throwout bearing, clutch master, slave cylinder, plug wires, and 2 of the fusible links by the starter. Took it for a drive yesterday and drove about 30 or 40 miles and it died, couldnt get it to start, seemed like no spark. Went back this morning with the car hauler to pick it up and get it home and it started right up but it doesnt idle well at all and its smoking a little. If you keep your foot on the gas at about 1500rpm it will run ok but anything below that it sounds horrible and will eventually die and is very hard to start again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
