Crate engine
I've been offered a GM Crate Engine with Casting Number 10066036 with chrome Edelbrock parts and Roller Rockers. I read somewhere that this engine will not fit anything post 1986? I want to put it in an 87 Firebird Base. Will it bolt up to my 700r tranny and match the existing engine mounts?

Re: Crate engine
Yup, bolt up to everything.
Only thing you'll have to change is, the flex plate, which will have to be the 85-back style; and you might have to do something about the dipstick tube, if that motor has it on the driver's side.
