I need serpentine area HELP

I own a 1992 Camaro RS 25th anniversary edition with a 305 V-8.
I have a chirping/squealing noise in my serpentine area. I have replaced the compressor, the belt, and the tensioner pully and it still continues. At first it just DoD it every now AND then but now it does it from the time I start the car to the time I turn it off. It never ceases. When I move the tensioner arm out while it is running the squealing stops. So could it be the spring inside the tensioner assembly making all the noise or causing all the noise?

Re: I need serpentine area HELP

YES it can be the spring making the noise...had that happen on my dodge truck, try spraying some lube in there see if that works. Also, if you take the belt off and start the car does the chirping still happen.....if so it's not on your belt system. If chirping does stop, before you put belt back on try spinning each pulley to see if you can find out which one it is....most common chirp comes from the alternator and tensioner/idler pulley. try that see what happens. may have bad bearing in one of them. Also, cheap belts can cause chirp sound...if you put some dielectric grease on both sides of the belt, that will stop it if it's the belt....DO NOT use belt dressing spray...that makes it worse always.

Mine was the water pump that was chirping. Could be the power steering pump or the AIR pump also since you've swapped the other cuprits.

Re: I need serpentine area HELP

Thank you for the quick reply. I ordered a full tensioner assembly yesterday from NAPA, I'll pick it up in the morning and then replace it tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully that fixes it up. The noise just drives me crazy because besides that the car sounds amazing.
