L31 vortec heads on the chopping block

I am going to machine vortec heads for a set of 1.25" OD standand "Z-28" style valvesprings. Going to do a .760 OD guide, .530 OD seal, and removed .200" in guid height.

Should I open the seats up for 1.440" springs that might happen later on down the road?
Should I make the guides down to .630" for springs later on?

If I did make the seat bigger and guide smaller, what do I put in place to keep the Z-28 springs from walking around and is the small guide OD a problem?
