Whats up guys new on this forum but have used the info on it alot in the past.
Ive searched far and wide for the info im looking for.
I just picked up a fresh set of 187 (stock 305) heads that were machined for new valve guides, studs and guide plates, 1.94 intake and 1.6 exhaust valves. The heads are other wise stock, here are my main concerns:
-Will these valves clear on my standard bore lo3?
-What kind of hardware should I go with (on a budget, looking for guided/self aligning rocker advice)
-I plan to swap in an lt1 cam, can I use 1.6 rockers as well?
It seems to me that similar setups have made decent power using parts along the lines of what im planning. Thanks alot
