88 5.7 GTA EGR Solenoid Vacuum hoses
Hi all, new here again. I been away for 10+ years!
I am the original owner of a 88 5.7 GTA, unmolested stock. My question is which vacuum port on the EGR solenoid does the EGR vacuum line connect to? There is a MALE metal port and a MALE black plastic port. The other vacuum line runs from the plenum to the solenoid. I got to replacing old lines and got them confused. I don't think it makes a difference, but wanted some advice. Thanks in advance!

The metal port on the solenoid is a vent. Vacuum signal starts under the tb ported vacuum and y's off to the ccp. It then goes to the egr solenoid than the egr.

I have that diagram under the hood. The connector at the solenoid is the preformed L-shaped, 2 port connector that the two hard plastic lines connect to.
