rocker arm stud sticking out more than others? 1984 H.O

Okay so I ended up having to take off my intake manifold the other day to find out two push rods broke. And that's how I bought the car 2 months ago. Well after I put new lifters and push rods in all they're correct places I was gonna start adjusting the values, but when I got to the 5 cylinder the rocker arm stud to the intake is sticking up more than the exhaust and others?? So much to where when its tightened up the rocker still has play in it
And it's the one where the push rod broke, my question is can I somehow push the stud screw in? Or am I going to have to do something else? Please someone help :/

Most often, if one stud is up higher than the rest, it's because it got pulled out of the head casting.

Tightening the rocker doesn't do much good because the force of the spring when the valve opens just pulls it out some more.

No you can't really just push it back in, because now the press-fit into the casting isn't tight any more. It's a one-time-only, one-way kind of operation. Repairs are a bit more extensive than just pushing it back in.

Reason for it pulling out, could be any number of things. Even repairing it properly, might not be good enough, if the underlying cause of why it pulled out in the first place, isn't cured.

A little history would help. (to the extent you know it...) what cam is in it, what springs are in it, how it was set up, what happened right immediately before the push rods broke; stuff like that.

So would there be any hope in fixing it? Cause that's the only stud, which is keeping me from adjusting all the lifters. And it's all stock, down to the original air filter and the guy I bought it from had it driving before he had it sitting for 5 plus yrs
