Sevice Engine Soon light flickers
Hello, I have a 89 pontiac trans am 350 TPI stock and the service engine soon light flickers during acceleration. It does not stay on and there are no codes reading just 12. I have changed the spark plugs, wires, new air filter, and pcv valve so far. Runs great almost all the time, but has this one little issue that around 30 or 35 mph the light flickers, I think there is a slight, hardly noticeable fluctuation in power, then everything is great, light off and running great. This does not happen all the time, just once in a while and making me nuts trying to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Re: Sevice Engine Soon light flickers
Hello all,
I believe I have found my problem with the car. I did not want to listen to the wife, but, she said it is probably the injectors. So I took up my multi-meter and headed out the door. I checked the ohm for the readings and got 15 ohms on 7 and the last one had a reading of only 3. I would have to say that one injector is the culprit. So now to order new injectors and put them in (I am ordering all 8 of them as the one that failed was one of the originals, so do them all is my motto and I will also clean the intake and check the EGR to ensure only one time removal) in order to get my baby up and running again.
I will update this post after I have done so, probably get them in, in a couple of weeks so we can see what doing this does.
Thanks again all,
Jerry
