383 mini ram car runs too rich: help
i have a 383 l98, it runs too rich. I dont have the innovate LC1 hooked up yet, however its blaringly obvious its too rich just by driving it.
headers, no cat, but flowmaster muffler (for now)
TPIS zzx cam
TPIS mini ram intake
GMPP fast burn heads
24 lbs/hr injectors
58 mm TB
Adjustable FP regulator
MAT sensor relocation
stock ECM w/ prom tune
fuel pressure set to around 40-45 PSI at idle (from what i remember)
NO TROUBLE CODES
I clearly get like 4 MPG and it smells FAT. it'll burn your eyes just by being in the car behind it.
Whatre some things i should check? ALL OPINIONS APPRECIATED. thanks all!

Go back to you tuner , send him some datalogs and get him to fix it
May have to set it to open loop @ idle to get rid of the rich condition from the cam there
A well documented problem ;
the overlap on the big cam makes the O2 sensor "think" the engine is running lean at idle so the ECM dumps more fuel
in trying to obtain the correct A/F ratio

You need 30-36lbs injectors for starters. You need a serious custom tune. Your heads are too small. You need 34 degrees of timing for performance in the chip. 40 degrees of timing for cruising. If you put the cats back on, it will cut down the rich smell.

The only thing you can do is lower fuel pressure.
Besides that you must get the wide band setup, so you can use that to tune and lower pulse-width as needed.(through tuning)
Be careful driving it that rich. It can dilute your oil and put extra wear and tear on your bearings.
