Help ignition switch or wire

My 86 iroc wont start ,starter, alternator, and battery are all good. Engine will turn over when i jump the solenoid with as screwdriver but when I turn the key i get power but it dont crank or make any sound. I need to figure it out so i can take it to get tires and inspected so shes on the road Please help and thanks.

Need to check for power at all the points on the stater circuit to see where you are loosing power

Ok thanks for the advice. I dont have a test light but i have a multi meter tho, should i test for ohms , volts, or amps and what number should it read?
