91 RS hard to start
I have been having a lot of trouble lately with my car not wanting to start on the first try. I usually have to turn the car on and off several times, it almost never starts on the first try. And about 1out of 3 times the VATS will reset and I have to wait five minutes before it will start again. It is becoming really frustrating lately as most times I just want to get in and go and the car won't start. Not sure if it's ignition switch related and if it has to do with the resistor in the key but it's to the point that I am really frustrated with the car, and I'm tired of kicking dents into the door when it does this. If any one has had similar problems or can offer a solution I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, Chris

Re: 91 RS hard to start
Couple options for you. You can disable VATS ( Do a search, It is very easy to disable ). Or you can go to a GM dealer with your VIN and have the order a new key if you think its the resistor in the key. I would disable VATS first, see if that solves your problem. You can always hook it back up if you want to.
