Hey all just left the local junkyard bout to head to the next one to make sure there arent any other nice sets of seats out there BUT i found these, there in a 85 camaro. Manual Adjustments, they are black with no other colors except like white stitching it looks like. While i was walking around i noticed they look very similar to some 4th gen cloth seats. Maybe possibly re-wrapped? Any ways tell me what you guys think and should i pull them put them in my car? My car is Red interior but all the seats are ripped to hell. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated!

Nope not those style seats. Leather seating started to be an option in 1987. The early cars base seats were vinyl. You should keep them. It's hard to find decent factory vinyl seats now.

The early cars are interesting because you could order the car with certain options that were packaged together in later years.

 

Oh ok I see. So do you think I should pull them? Do you Think the front bucket seats are worth paying $41 a piece and the rear seats for $60? ( total going to be $145)

 

And I shouldn't let them charge me on them as if they were leather right?

 

Definitely NOT leather, just look at the underside of torn up parts on the driver seat cushion. That's vinyl.

 

I ended up pulling them. Will post pics later tonight with them in my car. Interested in how Black seats on red interior is going to turn out

 

Just a heads up. If that car is in a junkyard grad the front seatbelts, sunvisors, and any other black interior pieces. Could be a chance to make some good money.

 

I agree with what others have said. If they are original I would pull and check them. If not I would leave them.

 

I'm don't understand what you mean, check if they are original first? How would I check? Any ways I already bought them :O putting them in my car tonight
