This first started as a random problem, i drove it to work fine, then couldnt get it to start, had it towed home. Week later, did the same damn thing. Now its a few weeks later and it wont start at all.

it cranks but wont start, I can hear the pump go for its couple seconds

I have:

replaced the distributor rotor, cap, and icm, and ignition coil
replaced the fuel pump relay
checked fuel pressure, its optimal
plugged in a code reader, all i got was code 12 over and over and over again, not sure what this means

I dont seem to be getting a spark on the plugs, not sure what this could be from.... I have run out of things to suspect...

any ideas?

thanks for the info, i will be testing these things tomorrow, i should note I also changed the ignition coil.

 

so i went through all those tests. it APPEARS the pick up coil is no good. I am having trouble finding out how to get it off of there. I keep reading directions on how to remove it, but none of them seem to make sense....

 

this is what i am currently looking at... can someone aid me in figuring out how this comes off/out of there?
