Ok so here is the problem. I have a 1987 camaro rs that was swapped with a 91 camaro 5.7l that is carbeurated. The person who did the swap put an aftermarket mechanical oil pressure gauge in, and the sending unit is above the oil filter. I got the intellitronix digital guages for christmas and i need an electric oil pressure sending unit for the guages. Can i put the single prong, bulbish looking oil pressure unit up by the distributor and run a wire to the dash?
