Gasket help please

Hi there, I'm looking at giving my motor a freshen up and have been looking on summit for gaskets, rings and bearings. I'm totally confused at the amount of different listings of the parts. So I'm asking for help on what are good brands to get and which ones to stay clear of.

87 Z28 with a boring LG4. (I know not the best thing but it's my thing)

Valve guide seals -
Piston rings -
Head gasket -
Intake gaskets -
Big end bearings -
Main bearings -
Rear main oil seal (one piece) -
Timing cover seal -

Or a kit with all of it. Any recommendations??

And what are the intake port sizes? The heads are 081's. From what I gather the 87 LG4 was the last CCC carbed f body and used the same heads as the 305 TPI with the canted intake bolts in the middle.

I'm from Australia so I only want to buy the right parts first time cause I'll have to get it from summit. Thanks

Re: Gasket help please

I use Fel-Pro gaskets because the quality is always good. In your case, you might be best off getting a complete rebuild kit, but someone else will have to give you advice on which way to go there.

Thanks I've heard the fel-pro are good. Do you know the part number is for the fel-pro intake gaskets?
