87 RS won't fire?! Fuel or spark?

Hello everyone! New to the page and I am so glad I found it. Okay so I have a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro RS (which nobody seems to have a RS in this particular year?) Its all original reads 230k miles which I know is wrong. Im the second owner of the car. My grandmother bought it in 96' and I now take care of it (I'm 14). So now to my problem! I had something happen and the car sat for a year so I jumped in it about a month ago and tried to crank it. Nothing. Oh well, so I get a new battery because my car wouldn't do anything. I put it in and now it will crank. Apparently its fuel injected but since I have been taking care of it, it would never start unless I pumped it while cranking it. So I went to crank it and gave it some gas. NOTHING. It will crank and crank but when I floor it, it rumbles but then nothing. What is wrong with my baby?! I adore this car so much and I don't know why! Pleaseeeeee help me!

Your 1987 RS was built in limited numbers for California and only with a v-6,

I am 95% sure it's your ignition system. Check your coil, ignition module, etc.

If it starts with your foot on the pedal it has TOO MUCH fuel
Having the throttle open while cranking cuts off the fuel on injected engines ;
you can't " pump gas " in like on a carby engine

Fuel or spark?
Back to Auto repair 101

Start by pulling your plugs and seeing if you have a good strong spark
If no spark do the spark diagnosis here

(See if they are wet after the no fire up )
