1969 pontiac 350

i just bought a 69 pontiac 350 its a complete motor from air filter to oil pan and includes exhaust manifolds and alternator and ps pump fan etc. and i was just wondering what stuff will work from the chevy/gm motors. i know that pontiac made its own engines from 55-81. i hve a performer r.p.m manifold and other stuff and i want to know what will work and where to get a bell housing to use with my t-5.

Not many parts are interchangeable inbetween SBC and Pontiac engine. Bellhousing, I'm not sure but your likely into a custom aftermarket unit if it exists at all. I can't think of a B-O-P application that used a T5 in a stock application.

it doesnt have to be a t-5 but i already have one in the car thats why i asked. i know the bolt holes to the bell housing to engine block are different but i assumed the four bolts that bolt the tranny to the bell housing are the same on the bell housings. there are a couple bw t-10s i for cheap on craigslist that i could grab if i had to.

The thing with 3 gen gen housings is they tilt the transmission, so using a pont. bell housing will require mods. Check out the engine swap stickies, all Pontiac (desirable 350-455) engines are the same on the outside.
