the motor in my firebird consists of 10066038 casting number block and 376450 for heads. its got a 280/289 Adv. Duration 450/474 Gross Lift cam with gear drive. 600cfm holley carb edelbrock manifold performer i belive. hedman shorty headers and 3" flowmaster exhaust. the bottom end is stock and so is the valve terrain. stage 2 clutch. i know it was built for torque

my question is when i dump the clutch its fast but if i drive it normal its a turd. any ideas and how do i figure compression ratio. and is there any thing needed so i can run c-12 and or c-16 in my car have left over from last race season.
