Ac v belt please help
My ac belt keeps jumping but only when compressor is on.. I don't want to tighten it anymore because I've broken 2 from trying. I have a 305 with the setup of alt to water pump to crank to alt. power steering to crank to power steering, and ac to power steering, to crank, to water pump, then ac. What's wrong? Only thing I can think of is compressor may need to be shimmed up a little?

Maybe the pulleys are not aligned right. Also when you say you broke two, do you mean two compressors or belts?
