Proper way to tighten power steering belt

What's up guys, What exactly is the proper way to tighten up the power steering belt? I have a 305tpi trans am with the v belt set up. I've been reading that there's some tab on the water pump you can pry on and to avoid prying on the power steering pump's fluid reservoir but my dilemma with that is I just put on a new water pump with permatex gasket sealer and thread sealant for the second time and am hesitant to pry on something that I'm trying to prevent from leaking. I've waited 24 hours before starting and the belt shakes violently so I don't want to drive it till it's tight. Thanks

There's a special tool to grab the mounting bracket that allows you to tighten the belt without prying against the reservoir. The hard part is tightening the bolts through the pulley holes.

It looks like this

On the down-n-dirty, I've found a claw hammer fits nicely between the top of the steering box and the PS pump bracket. Pry on the bracket, not the thin sheet metal body of the pump.
