Need some opinions/moral guidance.
Currently typing this from the parking lot of a 24-hour burgerking in the middle of Nowhere, PA.
Sorry for the incoming rant, I'm POd.
Long story short, this super hot chick who it went to school with gives me a call, crying hysterically. Apparently her boyfriend cheated on her and she also finally admitted too that he had been physically hurting her for a little while now. Anyway, she's in Scranton with her boyfriend without a car and needed to get home ASAP. So I headed out to make the two hour trip to get her.
Then, a whole freaking 15 minutes before I get to Scranton my battery gauge starts dropping rapidly. Dash lights start dimming. I knew this meant either an alternator or battery problem so I pulled over while I knew I could still be safe.
Yup, it's the alternator. BUT HERE IS THE GREAT PART. The alternator is brand spanking new as well as the battery. The very first day I put the plates on the bird, and drove around with my friends, the alternator crapped out and a (I thought) good shop fixed her up.
This alternator is literally a month and a half old.
So my question to you guys is, am I stuck footing the bill for this again. Or should I call up the original shop and see if they will take care of it.
Sorry about this stupid post guys haha. It's just late and I'm pretty cranky. Thanks for your input.

Super hot is usually super crazy so, unless you were just down for a fun ride(which you may have been?), then I'd say get your *** back home and forget that crazy bitch..
Oh, and yeah.. Call the guy who installed your alternator....

Chasing psycho chicks , even drop dead pretty ones , seldom ends well . I fully agree with the others that your car did you a favor . Replace the bad alternator , give it a nice oil change as a thank you for saving you from all kinds of grief , and start thinking with the big head instead of the little one ....... Junior Member

Those can be tricky and potentially costly to rectify

Must be a cousin of K.I.T.T. that can't actually talk.
IMO, have the shop look at it first. Should be under warranty.
