Aftermarket Heads and Intake Combo
I will start the work in my 91 Z28 5.7...will be my toy car for street use not drag race ...something around 400 hp aspirated will be good...
for now it is auto but will be T56 soon...
i would like advice on which heads and intake combo use...
i am looking for current parts not old school parts...
I dont know if i go for a Vortec or stay with the TPI style Heads...vortec i will have more heads choice but just 2 intakes ...the TPI i will have more intake options but less evaluable heads......
need advice which way to go !!
I will buy the parts gradually so really look for good things that will work...
only tested combos PLZ...i am not looking for experiences!!!
Sorry my English is not perfect...i am doing my best here
Tks

Re: Aftermarket Heads and Intake Combo
Since you want to stay naturally aspirated and probably don't want a lot of engine work, I would swap over to an LT1 style intake and get a set of AFR heads. That will more than support the 400hp you're after.
Also, get a set of Dyno Don or Hooker 2055 headers and a 3" catback, this will let your motor breathe properly!

I will definitely use headers, Full camshaft kit , ignition, etc ...
but i will start buying the heads and intake set...
the LT1 is not a choice to me...i will need to do a lot of work to install it...and i don't do it by myself....i pay the labor time to do it...
will be expensive to instal the LT1 intake...
i was think in use the Stealth Ram and a Vortec aftermarket heads...
Do anyone have any suggestions??
