1991 Camaro RS has no power at all

I have a 1991 camaro rs with the stock 305

Long story short, I had to take my header and starter off to change out the the little sensor on the side of the block that controls the cooling fans. When I re-installed the starter I hooked up the wires the wrong way. When I reconnected the negative battery cable the starter engaged and I quickly disconnected the cable (maybe 3 seconds) After hooking up the starter properly I no have no power in the car at all. Turning the key does nothing, fuel pump wont prime, the lights won't even come on. Now I tried searching for a solution before posting this. this is a list of things I have already tired:
  • checked all fuses
  • changed all fusible links going to the starter
  • put in a new starter
  • swapped out the ignition control module with one that was working
  • changed out the positive cable
  • checked all the grounds and wires going to the starter, couldn't find anything wrong
  • Their is power going to the starter
  • The battery is fine
I tried searching, I couldn't find anyone with a similar issue. I'm at a loss here. Thank you for bearing with me, any help is appreciated , I need to get the car running to get into storage before winter really gets going.

How did you check the fuses & grounds? Did you use a test light?

Yes I used a test light on the grounds, battery and starter. I checked the fuses with one of those little yellow checkers that also has a fuse puller on one side.

an issue like that is often at the fusible links. did you hook them up to the positive terminal?

Thanks for the responses everyone. I feel dumb, For some reason the starter I bought has two terminals, and I had all the wires on the wrong one. Car starts and runs fine now
