HELP!!! 91 Camero RS

I have a 91 Camero RS that wont start. It has the 3.1 and I have replaced the spark plugs, coolent temp. Sensor, and distributor cap and rotar. It has fuel and spark and it back fires but doesnt start. Please help and give me some advice. The best guess i have is timing.
