does your car lift in rear?
i curious to find out why my car(88 vert ls1 auto) lifts in the rear when i put it gear with my foot on the brake. when i let off the brake, the car takes off kinda fast. if im in gravel and put it in gear, it spins the tires
Re: does your car lift in rear?
The obvious answer , given the above description , is that regardless of what the never accurate factory Tach says , your idle speed is way too high
Re: does your car lift in rear?
ESPECIALLY with a new tune , depending on who the tuner was .... If you didn't do the tune yourself , remember this ;
Mechanics are kinda like Doctors in that some graduate at the top of their class , some make it through with OK to so-so grades , and some get by barely but with the grace of God . So it goes that since tuning can be seen as being like mini brain surgery , who did ya have working on your car's brains ?

Your idle speed is too high. Adjust idle speed down
