Engine: 5.0 TBI
Transmission: Stock
Axle/Gears: Stock
Fuel pump
I'm having trouble with my firebird not getting gas from the tank to the carb. The engine will run if you pour gas into the carb. I've been reading repair manuals and for what i can understand there are both a fuel pump in the tank and a fuel pump on the motor that is ran by the cam. Is this right?

Depends on the year of the car also make sure the push rod for the mechancial fuel pump is installed if its not then ur not gonna pump fuel up to the carb
