Gas Tank, Fuel lines, etc

OK, I plan on going old school with my IROC. Cleaning up the engine bay as much as possible. The fewer the wires and so on and so on. My question(s) is what is the the part called that attaches to the gas tank for fuel delivery. It currently has electric fuel pump, and Im converting to mechanical pump. I have searched the threads and finding its not going to work with the electric pump in the tank. (and i figured that) what is the part number or the part called. I plan everything new as this isnt my daily driver, a project car. Hope what Im trying to ask makes sense. Thank you.

the "fuel tank sending unit" just buy one for a carb car and youre there. one word of advice though. NO spectra brand, cheap junk from e bay, ect. get a good one and you will be able to trust the fuel gauge. go cheap,,,, not so much.

Thank you, I cannot find a new one, used at Hawks third gen. I figure they would not sell a crappy part.

Not sure why you couldn't just remove the electric pump and modify the pickup for use with a mechanical pump.
