Fan comes with adjustable thermostat, do I still need coolant temp fan switch?
This model of flex a lite comes with an adjustable thermostat as well as a variable control. If the fan is running off this then do I still need the coolant temp fan switch that screws into the block? Also do I need to purchase anything else with this fan to make it work? Relays etc... I am mounting it on a new summit racing radiator.

By the description, it says that it has a control that monitors temperature, so no, the stock fan switch is not needed.

So does the thermostat dial come with temperature numbers ?
With some aftermarket fans the gage of wire in the circuit should not be less than then the gage coming off of the fan.
Also if you're going to want the car to run in the 180* to 200* range you will need a 180* thermostat.
