Broken Dipstick Tube
Hey everyone. I purchased some headers to go onto my 86 z28 camaro. everything went smoothly besides the dipstick tube. it was so rusted that when i was removing the bolt from the exhaust manifold it twisted the tube till it creased and is now broken. normally i would have stopped but do to poor lighting conditions i couldn't see it was bending that severely.
Point is i have been looking all over the internet for a new tube but it seems like all the sites have 82 to 85 dip sticks and i cant find anything on 86 or up. sounds stupid i know but if anyone can give me advice i would appreciate it.

Should be the same tube regardless of year.

Re: Broken Dipstick Tube
What side of the engine is the dipstick on? '86 should be pass. side IIRC.
Just buy an aftermarket pass side dipstick and tube.
