First off I'd just like to say that I've read a couple of posts from this forum and you guys seem really helpful and knowledgeable! Hopefully you can help me out.

I have a 1987 2.8 V6 that has been upkeep and well maintained, recently me and my dad decided to replace the Intake manifold gasket because oil was leaking. We did all the necessary steps to make sure that we could keep the timing on the motor right and make sure that we did everything in the correct order. But after replacing the gasket and reassembling the motor the car will start but we need to hold the accelerator to keep the car on because it will not idle.

Anyone have any recommendations onto what the problem can be or any possible solutions?
