UGH! Car stolen now has no fuel pump power
Was running fine until some scumbags stole it. Got it back minus steering wheel one plug wire and a smashed up steering column. Cops say they drive em til they're out of gas and it was bone dry.
No pump prime. Here's what I've tested. Reset ECM, battery voltage is over 12, Fuses are good. 12 volts to orange at relay. No pump activity when jumping orange to gray at relay. No pump activity when hot to ALDL G and ground to A. No pump activity when hot to tank side gray lead at c313 and ground to black. All this points to a bad pump right? or am I missing something. But here's where it gets confusing. Ohms test at c313 tank side leads gives a reading of zero ohms for pump and 25 ohms for sending unit. Wouldn't zero ohms for pump mean the pump is OK? Please tell me the pump is OK.

Just a suggestion. If you can't hot wire the pump to get it to run, the pump might very well be bad.

Probably running it dry was the last straw for your pump.. Who knows how many times the vandals tried to crank it with no gas

Trying to start the car on an empty tank will just burn out the pump.
Crazy as it sounds the FP uses gasoline for lube and cooling!
No lube and cooling = dead.
