No fuel pressure after fpr..

Hey guys, small problem here, im getting fuel pressure before my fuel pressure regulator, but not after it. What would be the problem?
I replaced the fuel pump a while back.

Also my fuel pump no longer kicks on in the key on position. I swapped to a 350 hsr with a new harness and computer. Could the computer be the problem here?

Re: No fuel pressure after fpr..

Most FPRs are designed that way... they have pressure on one side, and dump excess fuel into the return line (0 psi) to regulate.

So, probably no problem at all.

sofa,

so would that mean i have my fuel lines backwards? lol
I tried following what information was with holleys kit, but i was also wondering about the pressure in the return. i have my fpr before injectors..

I disconnected the fuel rail and left the crossover disconnected, ran the fuel pump, but it wouldnt push through the regulator

Re: No fuel pressure after fpr..

Right; the pump doesn't "push through" the regulator.

Pressure line should hook to one fuel rail; the crossover should go from the other end of that one, to the other; the regulator should be in the far side of the 2nd rail; return line should hook to the regulator.

On this same question. I also had my FPR changed and now I am not getting accurate reading on my FP gage. Is the Schrader Valve need to be in that port or not???

Re: No fuel pressure after fpr..

Schrader valve should go anywhere in the pressure line or fuel rails, before the regulator.

Changing the regulator shouldn't have affected the gauge accuracy. Maybe the regulator isn't regulating right?

Thanks...so there is a Schrader valve in that port.
