need to identify cylinder heads

89 Firebird. I pulled the valve cover to try and identify my cylinder heads, but I don't have any idea what brand they even are, only that they are aluminum and the motor was built in the late 90s by scoggin-dickey. (This is not the original engine.) It has roller rockers and the following 8 digits: 8085 0083

See if you can find the number as circled in red in the pic. Then do a "google". That's how I found these. Good luck.

Re: need to identify cylinder heads

Sounds like the OP's heads are aftermarket heads and not GM production heads, so they will not have a casting number on them.

I can't find anything on the numbers you listed. Can you take pictures of heads? Any marks, letters, on the ends of heads?

Or is those numbers the only thing on the heads?
