White Smoke from exhaust

So, I have white smoke coming out of the exhaust. This still occurs after the engine is warmed up. I did a compression test and I was within spec. Coolant is not low and no coolant in the oil. For the life of me I cannot figure out why it's smoking. Any suggestions?

Valve seats wore out causing oil to exit and burn

Re: White Smoke from exhaust

*It can be a chevy thing normally you expect valve guide wear to show white smoke on start up and end when engine get hot due to expansion of parts from heat or a cracked guide can do same but normally shows hot or cold, you could possibly have a hair line crack water jacket in head leading a very small amount of water into cylinder (have had twice) steam looks be similar to smoke, hold hand under exhaust and see if hand gets moist. Also had valve job ground improperly that barely touched water jacket letting small amounts of water in when hot thanks to duel exhaust I only had to look at one side. That was in a 327 .
