Here's my situation
I have a Trans am gta 88. .the subfamily and floors are shot. ..I have just but a rolling 84 camaro chassis that's literally rust free..there is no chassis wiring or anything...all my parts in the gta are mint interior engine Trans rear end...my only dilemma is if the chassis wiring harness would be the same and if I can swap it from the bird to the camaro..I have a digital dash and am on the edge of if I want to keep it or sell to cover the cost of a camaro dash
I would thing it would all be the same I mean I'm taking it from one car and putting it into the next..door panels
Console etc.

Close to the same but not quite... the Camaro has separate turn signals and brake lights for example (one is yellow, one is red), but the Birds use the same bulbs for both. Seems like a small thing but has significant consequences for everything electrical from the steering column all the way back to the bulbs.

Major mechanical parts will swap but trim items in general (dash, console, door panels, etc.) won't, or at best, will look anything from strange to hideous. Seats will swap but might look strange. (oddball color match) Shouldn't be too hard to magically turn your GTA stuff into Camaro stuff though, using the intermediate step of CASH.

 

Car is going to be custom yet still look stock on the interior side..the seats I'm not worried about as I want to go leather from a fourth Gen..I know a guy with camaros sitting around so I think he would swap me parts of need be..trying to do it cheap as possible..but floors are 800 for the pair and then all the work..full that..whole chassis for 300 bucks
