86 Z28 K-Member Removal...

Hi everyone, I'm getting ready to remove my K-Member out of my 86 Z28 for blasting and powder coating and have a quick question. I purchased and motor suspension system which sits along both inner fenders and am looking for the correct support points on the motor since it may be like this for a few weeks till I get it back from powder coating. It's a 305 4 barrel carb car. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!!!

Most of the cars I've seen this done on they use the upper strut mounts for their support points.

Thanks for your reply. I'm more concerned on the motor side. Where's my best spot to connect my chains ? I see a few spots (alternator bracket & AC bracket) but I'd rather get a spot on the motor itself. Any thoughts ?

On my 91 there are two lifting points on top of the motor. One on the back passenger side and the other on the front driver's side. Both are attached by intake bolts. If those are not there then my next recommendation would be to get a lifting plate for the top of the motor that bolts in place of the carb and attach the chains to it.
