Wanting to add some power to my 1989 Firebird 305 TBI any suggestions?
Hey fellow third geners
I'm driving a 1989 Firbird 305 TBI (actually my first car.. EVER)
Right now the car is stock,
But i cut the muffler off and stuck a glass pack on there backwards for now.
Getting a Prom chip as well
I would like more power out of the car.
Eventually i would like to have 3 inch exhaust with an x pipe bolted up to a nice set of headers.
Are Intakes worth buying for these cars?
I've herd one of the worst parts about the 305 TBI is the cam shafts, should this be one of the first things I upgrade?
What upgrades would you guys recommend ?
What have you guys done to your cars, and how do you like the results?
All suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

Exhaust is the 1st place to start. From engine to rear bumper.. The whole system. Headers, aftermarket Y pipe, high flow cat, aftermarket cat back system.
Then camshaft, valve springs, rocker arms.
Aftermarket intake manifold.
