I posted this on the electronics board, but no response. Anyway, I'm restoring this 89 Camaro 2.8 for my neighbor kid. I unplugged the EST bypass to set the timing. When I did the fuel pump died. Did I burn out the relay? Should I have shut the car down before unplugging it?

 

check for rat damage I.E. wires, harness. **** turds etc they love to knaw on stuff and cause problems that dont even make sense good luck with that

 

I've already done that. You've never seen so much rat dammage in your life.

 

I HAVE seen damage that bad i got a car in for repair airbag light on traced to chewed wire harness their was a dead rat carcass **** and turds EVERYWHERE took pix cause no one outside of shop would believe me .....long story short the insurance company totaled a newer model corolla on the spot LOL cust was in shock came in for light on and left without car
and totaled lol soooo yea i know your pain lol

Kinda harsh there tripower But yeah, I seen some bad damage done by them, almost makes ya want to do that.
