Ok guys I'm back with another problem you guys have helped me before let's try again so I have a
1991 rs 305 TBI
Bone stock so here in lies the problem, crank the car runs fine for quick runs around the house one to two miles kinda thing but I try to drive 20 miles to my mom's house and it cuts off while going down the road. Let's say it's good for 15 miles but if the engine is pretty hot (running for ehh mabey 45 to an hour) it shuts off and binds up (like it kinda drags)when to u try and turn it over again and if it does crank up it will die again in not even like a mile. Wtf is this help please

 

Possibly sounds like your ICM is getting hotter than it should. Next time it happens check to see whether you have spark coming from the distributor.

 

Antares is right about ICM, it will fail to send the injector signal to the ECM and injectors will not fire. Also ck for rust in the gas tank, when you drive the car it stirs it up and gets sucked onto the filter on the pump, clogging fuel flow. So car runs fine on start up but craps out after driving. The test is to check fuel pressure after it fails. Just a thought from the symptoms you describe.
