Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
1991 RS 305: is the ignition electronic or by distributer?

I'm saying its distributor,but my brother is arguing saying its electronic. Sorry for the dumb question.

The timing in the camaro is electronically controlled via the ignition control module which is under the distributor cap.
The distributor I'd obviously essential in getting the spark to your plugs. Good luck figuring out who's right.

It is "electronically controlled" via the ignition control module which is under the distributor cap.


Yes there is still a rotor under the cap but no points.
