Pulley delete... Delete?

So I've got 2 delete pulleys for ac and smog and I'd like to get rid of them, any way to do that without going to v belts?

Re: Pulley delete... Delete?

Leave the A/C delete pulley in place. Remove the whole smog pump delete pulley assembly and buy a shorter 96.8" serpentine belt. Follow the alternate belt routing method shown in the Tech Article on this site about deleting the smog pump on serpentine belt equipped cars. Works like a charm. Done it on several myself personally.

I've seen guys delete the A/C pulley as well and cobble something together but it looked hokey as all-get-out. No idea if it would hold a belt at high RPMs.
