Should i go ahead and do the work need to put this 89 harness in my 82 because the 82 harness has bad wires and also the engine going in is setup for TPI.

 

Seems to me you don't have much choice in the matter. It's either that harness, or, buy a 'new' one.

 

No freaking way unless you have a LOT of time on your hands. Almost every wire was cut taking it out. Look at the 20+ wires cut off right behind the bulkhead connector.

I forsee an aftermarket wiring harness in your future. Bring your checkbook.

Thanks for the reply. I have nothing but time i can fix those wire's once i fix them can i make the 89 harness work with the 82 Z28 and trash the 82 harness.

 

so if i use the 89 harness will it work in the 82 what would i have to do to make it work

 

Contact Pocket on here, he was building harnesses for a while and that way you'd get a harness you know will work.

 

I hear pocket is the guy to use and very reasonable too.
