Wiring Coolant Fan Relays with No ECU

92 RS with Old carbed engine, Looks like I have 2 coolant fan relays ( from what the wiring diagram shows ) and Im installing a dual fan setup. Question is, What wires do I need to run to hot or ground and will the stock relays work by just having a one wire coolant temp switch on the manifold. I didn't really understand how the fans kick on at a certain temperature without using a whole relay kit with adjustable settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Either use manual on/off switches where the wires go to the ECM or use a temp switch like this. (except these aren't available anymore)

Take a look at the diagram concerning your car in this link.
You will need to scroll down.
This diagram will tell you what color wire coming off the relay does and where it goes. = http://www.autozone.com/repairinfo/r...96b43f80386616

If the car came with two stock fans and the circuits are ok you can simply install the fans using the existing circuits/wiring.

Ohh Ok, Yeah I actually need one of these then, This is good info Now I'm just curious.. Where it says Fan Relay control for the PCM, thats where I run power to that line right? Seems alot of positive wiring for some relays and all.

The computer grounds the circuit to turn on the relay. Don't run power to it 🤓

Wire 335 and 473 are ground triggers. NOT power.
This

or a simple ground switch replaces the ECM grounding control

So, I had a question about where the 12V power should be involved, It says to Generator and on other side it says 12V all times. Is this correct?

Re: Wiring Coolant Fan Relays with No ECU

12v constant should go to battery
The other is a switched 12v source, like a ign fuse.
