Seems like a simple problem, but recently my bird has developed "smellslikegasitis"
and I'm having issues detecting where its coming from.

Vortec 305, new weiand intake, brand new quick fuel carb, electric fuel pump, headers, h pipe dumping in front of front wheel (no cats or mufflers)
This motor just went in about 3 weeks ago, the intake, carb and dizzy are all new to this motor. Carb tuning was off a little, but good enough to drive (its my DD), it occasionally had a gas smell like all carb cars.
Just a day or two ago I put a bigger accel pump cam in it which made her run great and eliminate a stumble. Was also getting a slight surge around cruise range, so upped from 65 main jets to 67, problem fixed there.

Which now that it's finally running nice, I've noticed that while driving, it smells like fuel, unlike it has before. Smells slightly rich outside, but not bad, no black smoke, still getting 15mpg. I'm leaning more towards raw fuel smell, from my experience rich exhaust smell burns the eyes a little, which this doesn't do inside the car.

This has only really onset in the last week, only changes made were carb tuning.
I don't notice any liquid fuel leaks, not bypassing the needle, boosters not leaking..choke is working as well, and my engine bay doesn't smell overly gassey, just standard "old car" slightly rich smell.

Anyone ever experienced something like this? I do indeed have holes in the firewall, and my door gaskets do indeed suck, but it's been like that since I've owned the car, and the previous motor with a holley 600 + this motor up till a week ago never had this issue.
