L69 Low Oil Pressure Problem

When my car warms up I notice that my oil pressure is pretty low, looks like its about at 15psi at idle. Also, when driving the needle moves with acceleration but never seems to go above 30. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix this or is it natural? Also is it good for the engine to continue driving like this? I drive alot... thanks. its an 84 305

Re: L69 Low Oil Pressure Problem

Change out the oil pressure sending unit.

If the reading doesn't change much, start saving up for a new short block with a "bore kit" installed.
