Re: flat camshaft
You left a lot of information missing, gear ratio,
Compression, target rpm range your looking for,
Max lift of your heads, budget !
You can get a retrofit roller cam

Im not gonna lie and pretend i know alot about cams because i really dont. I know what they do thats about it. I heard not to go above a .480 lift ill probably just go with a flat cam because theyre cheaper ive been told to use a crane powermax 272-2 i do believe anyone ever use that?

Re: flat camshaft
That 272 cam will run well in a 350 and you'll hear it.
If sticking with stockish gears and TC, I'd go a step smaller and forget about lope.
