Getting fluid out of transmission.

Merry christmas First off! Second, I have a transmission sitting on the ground that needs to be shipped. Other than taking off the pan. . .How do I get the fluid out? Is there a little spout type deal?

i usally tilt them back, and alot will come out the tailshaft area, also tilting forward will get alot out, you wont be able to get it all, but a good amount doing it this way.

Pull the dipstick and use a suction gun and a long tube that reaches the bottom, should be able to get most of it out.

Aw, heck, since the tranny is out, just pull out the dipstick tube and suck it out..no need for a long hose.
