Pilot bearing

Quick question about a vortec 350 pilot bearing. If i get an old style pilot bearing will it work On a world class t5?

by the look of it the hole in the crank looks bigger on my vortec 350 than on the older style. Wondering what Pilot bearing to get

Worst come to worst a friend of mine is a machinist he can be me a bushing

It should work. Take your pilot bearing and see how it fits onto your tranny's input shaft. I had a pilot bushing from a old 2 price rms sbc and it was the same size as one from a 1piecs rms. A new pilot bushing from Napa is like $6 anyways.

Re: Pilot bearing

Yup, all the same.

You can use either a bushing or a bearing, according to your preference. I prefer a bearing but I don't have a problem with using a bushing if that's what I happen to have.

Re: Pilot bearing

I put a bushing in mine and haven't had any issues at all. Bushing tapped right in, fit snug, and the trand bolted in with no issues.
