Airbox on 3 inch cowl

Airbox on 3 inch cowl
Has anyone made an air box/enclosure for a 3 inch cowl good. The way the block sits in these cars the rear of the filter is nearly hood level but the front is way up, nearly defeating the purpose of the cowl hood without a sealed box on it.

I do not have the box but the top and about 1in of the filter sit snugly into the cowl hole on the bottom of my hood. ( 1/4 in gap all the way around )
Just enough to supply a nice consent flow of ambient air through the top.
