Front collisions, Is t repairable?

Unfortunate news, aftor my thourough tuneclean to emissions pass I was inside in a vendor bender right now my street, been up for 2 days i kept dosing off and sure as hell T boned this truck. /needless to say my car took the brunt of the impact and smashed my frontin end in along with the radiator slight;y,,headlights are toast. I have the originally stock hood but when I go to crank the engine it isnt turning over. After I tuned it up, it ran like a chanp. and all of the sudden with unfortunate lucky this happened

Thinking about just buying a beater for 1500 instead of paying for the body work which would cost more. Anyone opionions guy?

thanks.

Any good body shop with a frame straightening setup can easily pull the unibody back into spec. Fender, hood, nose etc will just be replaced. Structural repair will depend on exactly how much damage there is. Lots of damage you can't see.

Let insurance pay for it.

No insurance was exchanged, but the guy lives two houses away from me. but more money taking it to a shop would cost even more money than just buying another beater. i might just swap it. Engine is fine just the front end/hoof is all smashed in along slightly with the radiator. Now its just cranking but not turning over is the bummer.

Re: Front collisions, Is t repairable?

It all comes down to "Is it worth it". Spending $5000+ to fix a $2000 car isn't really worth it but if you had a lot of money invested into a car like $20,000 or it's a rare model then $5000 to fix the car is worth it.
